  • Jala neti – Jala neti is an essential shatkarma practice done in the morning. It is a kind of nasal cleansing that helps you breathe better and also prepares you for the pranayama. It is done with warm water with added sea salt. This water is run through the nasal passage from one nostril and taken out from the other and vis-a-versa. It clears the nasal passage removing excessive mucus, toxins and the sinus. It helps to prevent allergies, sinus issues, asthma, cough and headache.

Jala neti facilitates balanced breathing and increases the absorption of prana energy through the lungs, hence, it is extremely good for respiratory health. This yogic practice also improves the function of the nervous system bringing a more balanced state of mind. It allows more fulfilling breathing which in turn is the foundation of overall health.

We take adequate safety precautions on how to correctly do these asanas so that everyone can practice them with ease and without causing any kind of injuries to themselves. There are many types of asanas that work on different parts of the body, such as, standing postures, sitting postures, bending postures, etc. The sequence and combination of asanas we make you do will be based on your unique requirements. These asanas are well-suited for everyone.

  • Guided meditation – In the chaos of daily activities and busy lifestyle, a restful mind is most needed. Our meditation techniques are imparted with guidance in order to take you through a resting time. As the mind needs instructions to follow, we give soothing instructions step by step, making it more relaxed. It requires a break too. Your brain uses around 20 percent of the whole energy you have. It’s a huge amount comparing the size of the brain to the body. So unnecessary thoughts and worry can take a toll on you leaving very little energy for other things. Guided meditation helps to minimize these never-ending thoughts or at least it will relax your mind from time to time.   • Ayurveda sauna or steam bath – Steam baths provide a profound unwinding and calming effect on the body and psyche. It relieves tension, relaxes muscles, and aids in the treatment of joint problems. When you will be doing yogasanas here, steambath may prove to be a boon due to the kind of positive effect it has on your muscles and joints. It is a highly powerful method of detoxification. It destroys unwanted microorganisms, strengthening your immune system in the process.

Ayurvedic Sauna practice can regulate your metabolic rate by affecting your blood circulation properly. As a result, prana energy will be received by all regions of your body, and you may have more energy than previously. After a steam bath, you may even feel lighter and more energized. If you have high blood pressure, then you might benefit from it as it has the ability to lower blood pressure. By making your heart rate slow, you naturally slip into a relaxed and calm state. Since it acts on the Ajna point, it is said that Shirodhara brings clarity in life as it activates Ajna Chakra. Your intuition also gets stronger and you become more conscious of subtle things in life.

  • Delicious vegetarian meals – A healthy lifestyle is also about the food we eat. The food becomes who we are so it is recommended to have ‘Satvik Aahar’. Although the yogis knew this thousands of years ago, vegetarian food brings our life into complete balance and keeps the system (body) functional without any kind of friction. Vegetarian meals take considerably less time to digest than non-vegetarian meals, hence, if someone struggles with digestion-related ailments, it is highly recommended. Keeping in mind the health benefits of vegetarian meals, we also take care of their deliciousness.
  • Herbal tea – Herbal tea is basically herbal infusion of different parts of a plant or  tree. It could be roots, stems, flowers or leaves. We provide different types of organic tea and fortunately unlimited.

Inclusion: This package is a unique blend of practices of Ayurveda and Yoga to give the maximum benefit possible. There are intelligent sequences & a combination of yoga asanas, pranayama, guided meditation, Ayurvedic oil massage, Shirodhara (Ayurvedic treatment), relaxation massage and steam bath. Along with this, you do need a supporting diet in order to facilitate the whole structure of the package. Hence, we provide healthy vegetarian meals, unlimited herbal tea and filtered hot/cold water. We make arrangements for hiking and temple visits which are optional activities.

Exclusion: Certain things are excluded from the package, such as your transportation cost to/from the airport, single room supplement fees, meals outside our retreat, visitor’s fees and additional night stays at the retreat. Prepaid or postpaid pick and drop facility can be arranged on request.

Since there are plenty of things to do with utmost ease and in a relaxed way, we do need a schedule. We wanted you to have an idea of how it is going to be when you are here. The schedule also includes your personal relaxing time so that you can make most of the pampering package.

Day 1

  • The check-in time is 12:00 noon. You will be welcomed with tea and after some time, a delicious vegetarian meal will arrive.
  • What would be better than a massage after lunch? Yes, it will be your relaxation massage time for you to leave all your stress behind.
  • A peaceful time in the garden after the massage is like the cherry on the cake, followed by a steam bath.
  • Now you are ready for some yoga and meditation. Let your body experience the yogic asanas and feed meditation to your mind before you go for a restful night.

Day 2 & 3:

Yogic Practices: The morning for our guests starts with a beautiful view and experience in nature followed by Jala Neti. Though it is an optional activity, a lot of people choose to avail of its benefits as it will prepare you for pranayama, which is the next activity of the day. After pranayama, you will be doing ancient yoga practices.

Breakfast & relaxation: The morning activities might make you hungry and the good news is that we make delicious breakfast. Expect it to be healthy and light on your stomach. After breakfast, you will have some relaxation time to recharge yourself for the day.

Ayurvedic pampering with lunch in between: It’s time for Ayurvedic treatments like Shirodhara, oil massage or relaxation massage. Post massage, a Sattvik meal will be waiting for you on the table. The most needed Ayurvedic sauna is the next along with some personal relaxation time.

Second Round of Yogic Practices: Well, well! Here comes the evening yoga asanas and meditation. Strive, Stretch, Strengthen & Breathe into a meditative state.

Dinner & Relaxation: Indulge in an appetizing dinner and relax for the day. Have a nighty night!

Day 4

This is the check-out day but we don’t want you to miss out on a healthy yogic breakfast. Before that, you will have the Jala Neti process in the early morning which is optional followed by liberating yoga asanas. The check-out time is 12:00 noon. However, if your flight timings are a little late, and you are unable to check out but want to keep your luggage somewhere, we will try to provide you with a locker room for your luggage. Due to any reason, if you have to stay one more night, you may stay with an additional night stay fee but this is totally depended on the availability of the rooms and bookings.

Our retreat package offers accommodation in natural and beautiful surroundings. With four options, which are, Bamboo cottages, Standard rooms, Panoramic deluxe rooms and Panoramic sweet rooms, you can choose the most preferable room for yourself. The outside view from the rooms is marvelous as it is Sanku valley facing surrounded by mountains. Nothing is as relaxing as floating waves of white clouds over the vast horizon, with shimmering sunlight through it and the lush green trees waving back as the breeze makes its way through them.

The necessary amenities are provided during your stay including wash & bath towels, comfortable beds with blankets & quilts, hot water in attached western-style bathrooms. We ensure a comfortable stay for it is part of the pampering.

You can extend your stay, however, the additional night fees will be charged.
